Strengthening Our Voice Through Unity and Collective Action

We invite Tribal Councils, Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations (IPOs), and dedicated indigenous individuals from different tribes in the Philippines to join the federation and become part of a unified voice for IP rights and self-determination. Membership provides a platform for collective action, shared learning, and direct engagement in shaping the future of IP communities across the Philippines. Explore the requirements and benefits of joining FISTCOP and add your strength to our collective mission.

Organizational Membership: For Tribal Councils & IPOs

As a federation, our strength lies in the unity of the councils and organizations that form our core. Organizational membership is open to Indigenous Sectoral Tribal Councils and duly constituted Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations (IPOs).

Benefits of Organizational Membership:

  • Unified Advocacy: Participate in a strengthened, unified voice that advocates for IP rights at local and national levels.
  • Capacity Building: Gain access to specialized training and resources in cooperative management, legal empowerment, and sustainable development to enhance your organization’s capabilities.
  • Network and Collaboration: Connect with a broad network of other IP organizations, government agencies, and civil society partners to foster collaboration and share best practices.
  • Direct Support: Receive priority assistance from FISTCOP’s core programs, including legal aid for rights violations and technical support for livelihood projects.

Individual Membership: For Indigenous Individuals

FISTCOP also welcomes indigenous individuals from different tribes across the Philippines who are committed to our mission. Individual membership is for those who wish to contribute their skills, passion, and voice to the collective movement for IP rights.

Benefits of Individual Membership:

  • Contribute to a Collective Voice: Be part of a larger movement and contribute to our advocacy for the recognition and protection of IP rights and cultural heritage.
